In
the first place, Eddy Accolet makes some studies on the
Drawing Academy of Saint-Michael in Brasschaat. Secondly,
he takes private lessons by some well known artists.
R. Van Hoecke is one of his teachers. Later on, Eddy works
for a couple of years in team spirit with the ' Art-Society
't Blad ', who is settled in the Old Atelier Hendrik Luyten
in Brasschaat.
On the Academy, they had to
sketch, draw and paint with oil paint, but Eddy Accolet
prefers to make water colors. In his landscapes
and still lifes, where the lightness is very important,
the combination of colors is a difficult matter.
The most unexpected shades are established
carefully with water colors in a wet underground.
Because Eddy Accolet lost
himself in the materia of water colors, he decided to
teach his knowledge to other people. He starts a course
of water colors in the Old Atelier Hendrik Luyten in
Brasschaat. These lessons, who take place every week, are
for a couple of years already attended by a lot of students.
Expositions, individual and in
group, take place in- and outside Belgium. A lot of his works
are purchased by private collectors.
